There are various reasons for requesting rescue space. We are happy to offer advice prior to you making any decision so you are happy its the best course of action. We have helped Guinea Pigs stay in their home with advice and support.

We aren’t here to judge, all requests are triaged and if we accept, a timeframe will be agreed for surrender.

Please understand we do not accept surplus breeder stock.

Terms of surrender to our rescue:

• We will always act in the best interests of the guinea pig(s) which after initial checks may include veterinary treatment or in extreme cases of ill health, euthanasia (ONLY if our exotic vet feels it is the best option for the guinea pig(s).

• After a period of 2 weeks quarantine and if deemed in full health, the guinea pig(s) will be offered for adoption in accordance with our strict adoption policy - you can view this on our website.
